SPAN 1010 online synchronous course will follow this pattern of workload during the next 5 weeks. This workload should comprise the 3 hours per day + 1 hour per week of language lab.

1.     Every Monday and Wednesday, the students will get short recorded lectures that would explain the grammar. The students are required to watch them and complete the homework to practice what has been learned.

2.     Every Monday there will be a class meeting through BlackBoard Collaborate Ultra, where you can bring your doubts and questions regarding the recorded lectures and the homework done.

2.     In this course we will have access to cultural products such as films and texts. 

• Some Mondays students will read a text or watch a film. 
• Students will meet with their project group and work together in the text or the film depending on the week’s assignment.

Generally, on Wednesdays, students will upload their group assignments. For instance, a comment and at least one response to their  colleagues in the discussion board called CineForum or Club de Lectura amongst other assignments. Have a look at the course schedule where the assignments and deadlines are specified.
